Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FundFinder AI ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FundFinder AI. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

Eligibility

To use FundFinder AI, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

You may create an account using your email and password or through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Security

You agree to:

• Use a strong, unique password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Log out from your account at the end of each session

Subscription Plans and Billing

Subscription Tiers

FundFinder AI offers multiple subscription tiers:

• Starter (Free): Limited features with usage restrictions
• Founder: Enhanced features with monthly billing
• Scale: Advanced features for growing startups
• Pro: Full platform access with unlimited usage

Payment Terms

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete billing information
• Authorize recurring charges to your payment method
• Pay all fees when due
• Update payment information to prevent service interruption

Billing Cycle and Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You will be charged on the renewal date using your payment method on file. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
• You lose access to paid features after the period ends
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• Unused credits or features do not carry over

Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

You may use FundFinder AI to:

• Search for and research potential investors
• Generate AI-powered pitch materials
• Access marketing strategy recommendations
• Participate in the founder community
• Attend virtual events and webinars

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Scrape, harvest, or collect investor data for external use
• Share your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Spam or harass other users or investors
• Circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
• Resell or redistribute platform data without permission
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Use automated bots or scripts without authorization

Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Ownership

All content, features, functionality, and intellectual property on FundFinder AI are owned by us or our licensors. This includes but is not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, algorithms, and investor data. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., startup profiles, pitches, community posts). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Use, store, and display your content on the platform
• Process your content through AI services (e.g., OpenAI)
• Improve our algorithms and features using anonymized data

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI features (pitches, marketing plans) is provided to you for your use. However, you are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and customizing AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee accuracy or suitability for specific purposes.

Affiliate Program

Our affiliate program allows users to earn commissions by referring new subscribers. By participating, you agree to:

• Promote FundFinder AI honestly and ethically
• Not use misleading or deceptive marketing practices
• Comply with applicable advertising and disclosure laws
• Connect a Stripe account to receive payouts
• Meet the minimum payout threshold ($50)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate affiliate accounts for violations of these terms or fraudulent activity.

Data Accuracy and Investor Information

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date investor information. However, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of investor data. You are responsible for verifying information before making investment-related decisions.

We are not an investment advisor, broker, or intermediary. FundFinder AI is a research and productivity tool only.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Warranties

FundFinder AI is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FundFinder AI shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Errors or inaccuracies in investor data or AI-generated content
• Third-party conduct or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FundFinder AI, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit to the platform

Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion feature in your profile settings.

Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

• Violate these terms of service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the platform or other users
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Present a security risk

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases. We may delete your data after 30 days, except where retention is required by law. No refunds will be provided for prepaid periods.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the platform and may cancel your subscription.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@fundfinderai.com to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to working with you in good faith.

Arbitration

Any dispute not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis; class actions are not permitted.

Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized access to the platform.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FundFinder AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FundFinder AI regarding the use of our platform.
